Spice and Wolf

Spice and Wolf is an absolutely charming tale of Horo, the Wolf Goddess of the Harvest and her travelling companion Kraft Lawrence, a merchant. He looks for profit, she looks to return to her home. Based on a series of 17 light novels, there are two series of anime episodes, as well as both manga, and translations of the light novels coming out now in the US.
Horo is a wonderful character; at times devious and strong, other times frail and needy, but always with a playful mischevious side that drives Lawrence to distraction!
