Utawarerumono

Utawarerumono is a feudal style fantasy series, which began life as a visual novel, before being turned into a manga, then anime series. It was licensed by ADV, who just finished producing it before going out of business, which sadly made the series a little unknown.
Eruruu, older sister of Aruruu is one of the female leads. Whilst a lot of the series of situated around war and conflict, Eruruu is a healer, something of a trainee wise-woman. She's strong-willed but caring and constantly at fear of what might happen to the soldiers and people she loves.
The costumes are fun in the series, and it's the perfect opportunity to don ears and tail (official merchandise, no less!) for kemono cosplay.
